About

Mrs.Luepker

Hello Camanche Middle School Students, Caregivers, and Community! My name is Caroline Luepker, and I am thrilled to be your  middle school counselor! I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2023 with a BA in Educational Studies and Human Relations. In May 2025, I  received my MA in School Counseling from the University of Iowa.  I am a member of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) and Iowa School Counseling Association (ISCA).

My passion for helping students and supporting their success led me to this profession, and I am committed to ensuring every student here at Camanche has the tools they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

My Mission

My goal is to support our students in applying academic achievement strategies, managing social and emotional skills, and planning for post-secondary options. I follow the framework set by the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) Mindsets and Behaviors and align them with Iowa's 21st Century Learning Skills. This approach ensures that all students receive a well-rounded, comprehensive education that prepares them for the future.

As the school counselor, I am here to serve as an advocate for every student. My role is to make sure that all students feel safe, supported, and successful at school and in the community. I want every student to know that my door is always open—whether you’re experiencing challenges or celebrating successes, I’m here to listen, support, and cheer them on. No matter what they may be going through, I am their number one fan and supporter above all!

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I am here to help in any way I can. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to make this school year an amazing one. Thank you for welcoming me into your Camanche community. Let’s make it a great year—GO STORM!

Why Counseling is Important

School counseling education is crucial for middle schoolers as it helps them develop essential coping, emotional, and academic skills during a time of significant growth and change. Learning how to manage stress, understand their emotions, and build effective study habits not only supports their success in school but also lays the foundation for lifelong skills. The lessons help students build resilience, improve their relationships, and set them up for future success in high school, college, and beyond, giving them the tools to handle challenges with confidence and emotional intelligence
